Chicago Tribune: Historic Keith House on Near North South Side Listed for Nearly $3 Million

Historic mansion on Chicago’s South Side is up for sale.

A vintage, Near South Side mansion built in 1870 was listed for $2.995 million this Tuesday, according to a recent Chicago Tribune article. The seven-bedroom, 10,660-square-foot mansion is known as the Elbridge Keith House for its first owner. Used by a publishing company for decades as well as an architectural bookstore, the Prairie Bookshop, the home has been owned by Steven and Joy Darrow Pratt since 1978.

In addition to seven bedrooms and seven baths, the home includes a parking lot and separate coach house. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServies Koenig Rubloff Realty Group’s Robyn Lee Brooks is the current listing agent for the mansion.
