Celebrities are known for their lavish homes and unique styles. And in 2016, there were no shortage of celebrities who put their homes on the market. With price tags that reach up to $335 million, these homes might not be practical for the average homebuyer. But the Boston Globe rounded up the top ten celebrity homes to take a look inside nonetheless.
Adam Levine’s New York Penthouse
The Maroon 5 frontman and supermodel wife Behati Prinsloo listed their New York SoHo loft in September. The 2,800-square-foot property sold soon after it was listed for $5.4 million.
Frank Sinatra’s Rat Pack Home
The crooner built this Palm Springs home in 1867 after winning an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in the film “From Here to Eternity.” The home, which is currently on the market for $3.9 million, is made up of 10 acres and three buildings.
Elvis Presley’s Beverly Hills Home
This home, which was purchased by Elvis and Priscilla Presley for $400,000, is now listed for $30 million. The newly renovated interior features high ceilings, hardwood floors and floor-to-ceiling windows. But there’s one thing for potential owners to keep in mind: fans still leave notes and pay their respects at the gate.
Frank Lloyd Wright’s Final Design
Frank Lloyd Wright designed more than 1,100 structures over the course of his career. But the sketches for this house in Phoenix were his final design. With a price tag of $3.25 million, the home is designed to mimic the curves of its surrounding mountainsides.
